Holy Smear is a darkly comic, surreal short film set in a decaying Georgian hospital, where faith, superstition and collapsing institutions collide.
The challenge
A 6-day shoot, a full cast and crew, and almost no budget.
What I did
Took the producer's role. I pitched the project to crew, equipment providers and location owners. I negotiated free or heavily discounted gear, locations and services.
Built the team. By the first day of filming, about 40 people had joined, most of them volunteers from Georgia and abroad.
Why it's here. It's the clearest example of what I do for brands too: get a big result out of a small budget.
